TBPeople Philippines Leads TB Orientation for Barangay Health Workers and Officials in San Narciso, Pangasinan

TBPeople Philippines conducted a tuberculosis (TB) orientation session for barangay health workers and officials of San Narciso, Pangasinan emphasizing that education is the cornerstone in the fight against TB. The initiative aimed to provide vital updates on TB, reinforce TBPeople’s mission and vision, and introduce plans to establish a local chapter in San Narciso. The session received strong support from the local government, with Mayor La Rainne Abad Sarmiento actively participating in the orientation, signaling the municipality’s commitment to addressing TB. Nutritionist Focal Person Janet D. Dris led the barangay officials and health workers in this collaborative effort, which was further supported by Nurse 1 Jenalyn Roxas and Assistant MNAO Lallaine F. Farre. Together, their contributions were instrumental in enhancing the effectiveness of the event and setting a foundation for future TB prevention and awareness initiatives in San Narciso.
