During the broadcast, they introduced also two key campaigns: One Impact PH and Fast Track the Cure. These initiatives focus on accelerating efforts to eliminate TB by promoting awareness, improving access to treatment, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders. A touching moment during the segment was when the team met a staff member who was undergoing TB treatment and had received proper support from his employer. Last engagement, TBpeople Philippines had the opportunity to meet with City Mayor Alfred Romualdez of Tacloban City. During this meeting, the delegation introduced the organization and outlined plans to establish a city association of TBpeople Philippines. This proposed association aims to provide a platform for TB patients to receive support, share experiences, and advocate for better healthcare services. The meeting emphasized the importance of creating local patient support groups, which can significantly improve the well-being of those affected by TB. By working closely with local government and community leaders, TBpeople Philippines hopes to strengthen its efforts in combating TB and ensuring that every patient receives the care and support they need.
