There has been a global effort to find the missing TB cases, and to end TB before 2030. The COVID mass testing is hopefully helping with the case detection of TB as well. these COVID facilities should not just specify if a COVID patient has a co-existing condition like TB, but they should refer them to the NTP National TB Program and refer right away if the symptoms are TB and not COVID.…

I’m Niño, 30 years old
from Quezon City.

I just wanna share my personal experience as a MDR-TB Survivor.

Last quarter of 2008 nung ma-diagnose sa health center na may TB ako. Yung klase na 6months lang magaling ka na. Pero dahil di naman ako masyado educated nung mga time na yun in the age of 18y.o about sa TB, binalewala ko yung mga libreng gamot na bigay ng health center until lumala sya.
