TBPeople Philippines Strengthens Commitment in Global Fund’s PSEAH Training
On March 7 and 8, 2024, TBPeople Philippines made notable strides in upholding ethical standards by participating as one of the ethics committees in the Primary Recipients (PRs) and Sub-Recipients (SRs) of the Global Fund’s Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) training. This participation marked a remarkable moment in the organization’s commitment to combatting sexual exploitation within the health sector.
The training session on PSEAH aimed to educate participants on identifying, preventing, and addressing instances of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment within the context of health programs. TBPeople Philippines, an organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of individuals affected by tuberculosis (TB), took on the responsibility of reviewing ethical guidance on the PSEAH policies and procedures.
Moving forward, TBPeople Philippines remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding ethical standards and advocating for the rights of individuals affected by TB. By actively participating in initiatives like the Global Fund’s PSEAH training, the organization continues to be a driving force in promoting ethical conduct and safeguarding the dignity and rights of vulnerable populations.
